Description
Stethorus Beetle- Stethorus punctillum is a predatory beetle that are very voracious feeders of all species of spidermite. The 1.5mm long adults are efficient fliers and can locate hotspots and attack all stages of spidermite. They tolerate a wide range of temperature (19°C – 32°C) and relative humidity (30-90% RH).
If spidermites are not found in the crop, Stethorus can survive on insect eggs, aphids, and pollen.
