Description
Steinernema feltiae predatory nematodes are microscopic, non-segmented roundworms that live in the soil and prey on MANY different soft bodies insects and grubs such as; Wireworm, Root aphids, Fungus Gnats, Shoreflies, Thrips.
The nematodes enter the insect through their mouth, spiracles (respiratory openings), or directly through the body wall of the pest. They have a beneficial bacteria in their gut that is released inside the insect, which kills the insect, then they use the host to feed on and reproduce.
